Hello there! Thank you for your interest in my modern crochet patterns and crochet inspiration.
My name is Cat and I absolutely love crochet. I picked up a hook for the first time a couple of years ago and have never looked back. With in weeks of learning to crochet, it became an obsession and I started spending every spare minute with a hook and some yarn. Sound familar?
Over time, I started developing my own patterns and ideas of what can be made using crochet techniques. In 2019 I made a new year’s resolution to start my own crochet blog to share the patterns that I have devised as well as the ideas behind them. I wanted the majority of patterns to be free projects as I benefitted so much from the wealth of free patterns available when I was learning to crochet. A lot of my projects are also small stash-busters as I do love using left-over yarn for something pretty.
When I’m not crocheting, you can find me squeezing even more plants in my small garden, reading Scandi crime novels or fussing my little cat.
I hope that you enjoy browsing my site and if you do choose to make something let me know, either on instagram, facebook, using the #crochetcloudberry or sharing your projects on ravelry.
Hej Debbie, Thank you. Each of the square patterns is explained round by round with photos so that you can check your work when you finish each round. I also listed all the stitches used in each square, so you can revise any unfamiliar stitches before you start the square. If you are stuck on a particular round, please let me know which pattern and round in an email to cat@crochetcloudberry.co.uk . Cat
