It has been another hot week here in the north east, and also a busy one. But between work, gardening and also watching a couple of football matches, I have of course found the time to crochet another round of the 2021 blanket.
This week’s round is again interspersed with bobble stitches. And now that we have completed several rounds in this way, I am hoping that we can make out 10 small pyramids on each side. I have really enjoyed making these rounds with bobble stitches and love the extra texture that has been added to the blanket.
This week, is another round using bobble stitches, which form the top of a pyramid of bobble stitches.

The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.
[Stitches written in brackets like this are all worked into the same stitch.]
For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
Special stitches
Ch – chain
