Pink for my Love
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I could not resist crocheting a round or two of pink! Ok then pomegranate but it sure does feel seasonal.
We have also had a few cold days here so I have been enjoying cuddling up under my 2021 Blanket. It is fun to think that this time next year, I might be curled up under the granny squares that I am currently crocheting.
This week, we are adding two rounds of pomegranate.

Pattern notes
The pattern is written using UK terminology, for a conversion chart to US terminology click this link.
The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.

For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row

Dc – double crochet
Htr – half treble

Round 13
Use pomegranate
(dc, ch 2, dc) in any corner ch-2-sp, *ch3, skip 3, 3htr into stitches in round 11 and before the ch from round 12. From * 4 times, ch 2. 4 times. (16 ch-3-sp, 8 ch-2-sp and 56 stitches)
Round 14
Ss to corner ch-2-sp. (dc, ch 2, dc) in ch-2-sp, ch 1, skip 1, *, 3htr into stitches in round 12 and before the ch from round 13, ch 3, skip 3. From * 4 times. 2htr into stitches in round 12 and before the ch from round 13, skip 1. 4 times (14 ch-3-sp, 4 ch-2-sp, 4 ch-1-sp and 64 stitches)
