Snowdrops coming into bloom is one of my favourite things in winter. Our snowdrops were a little late this year, but I have enjoyed seeing them the over the past few weeks. I always find their colours: white, green and hint of yellow a very restful combination and they are echoed in the start of our second square for this cal – although it is not quite a snowdrop square.
In other news the Bouquet of Flowers CAL got started this week with some stunningly beautiful squares that you can check out here : Bouquet of Flowers CAL .
This week, we are adding three more rounds to our five squares-

The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.
[Stitches written in brackets like this are all worked into the same stitch.]
For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
