Hello again, after a two week’s pause! It has been nice to enjoy the recent good weather and spend some time outside under the blue skies. But that certainly did not mean I was missing out on crochet, for as well as adding to the 2022 blanket, I was also working on some top secret projects that will be revealed for Christmas!!!
I have also been enjoying some relaxing coffees in the morning. They are kept nice and warm by the easy cable mug cosy(click the link for the free pattern). And it is such a joy to be able to practically use some of my crochet, even in the summer!
This week, we are adding some blue sky to our sunshines.

The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.
[Stitches written in brackets like this are all worked into the same stitch.]
For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
Special stitches
Ch – chain
Dc – double crochet
dtr – Double treble
Htr – half treble
Tr – treble
