This is week, Trixie got interested in the blanket again. I think she may have been avoiding anything too warm in the heat, preferring to lie on the cold floor, but today when I put the blanket down for pics, she was all over it:) So I think we can safely say, she is back from her summer break. Not sure how happy she will be as it is her annual trip to the vet’s next week..

The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.

For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
Ch – chain
Dc – Double crochet
4trpopcortn – popcorn stich works with 4tr

Round 24: (dc, ch 2, dc) in corner ch-2-sp, dc, *(2dc) in ch-1-sp, skip 1. From * across to next corner. 4 times. Fasten off.
Round 25: (dc, ch 2, dc) in corner ch-2-sp, ch 3, skip 3, *dc, ch 4, skip 3, 4trpopcorn, ch 4, skip 3, dc. From * to next corner. Dc. 4 times.
