Hello crochet friends. I hope you are all keeping warm in the cold snap. I must admit, I am finding the frost in the garden very beautiful, although I am not sure my reindeer plant holder is feeling the same way. My sister sent him to me and we thought it would be best to keep him indoors until the weather got a little milder. So he has been doing a good job inspecting the 2022 crochet blanket.
In other news, this is the second last round of the blanket! I can’t believe how quickly things are coming to a close now, but it means that the blanket is already big enough to snuggle under, which is very useful right now.
This week, we add a round in beautiful pomegranate.

The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.
[Stitches written in brackets like this are all worked into the same stitch.]
For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
