Wow, I can’t believe it. We are at the end of our 2022 Crochet Blanket CAL. We are just adding the final frill on the edges and then we can cuddle up under the blanket – and boy do we need a cosy blanket in this weather!
It has been so much fun to make this blanket with you this year and I just need some fine weather to be able to get a picture of the full blanket. But no fear, I will get one soon and show you!
So now all I need to say is thank you for your company on this journey and have a wonderful festive season!
It’s the final week, so we are just adding the edging!

The blanket is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.
[Stitches written in brackets like this are all worked into the same stitch.]
For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
Special stitches
Ch – chain
Dc – double crochet
Tr – treble
3-ch-picot – Picot worked on top of tr using 3 ch
