I think the shells in this part were inspired by the holiday feeling that is taking over right now. The sun is well and truly out, the gardens are blooming and everybody is jetting off to somewhere nice. And that got me thinking about the beach and it must have subconsciously fed into the design of the corners.
I have also been lucky again and been able to crochet and take photos in the garden. On days like these, I really feel very lucky to have an outdoor space where I can explore my passion for flowers and let my imagination roam.
This week, we are framing off the diamonds and adding some “shells” to the corners.

For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row
