It has been a bit of a while since I posted here on the Crochet Cloudberry blog and I am really sorry for the delay in getting the September square to you. Sometimes life, work and everything else takes over. But the good news is that it means I will be releasing another pattern this month too, so October is a double whammy!
I’ve noticed as the cooler months come in, I am more inclined to be working on my blanket and on crochet in general. The colour pallet I have chosen for the 2023 crochet blanket feels a lot more seasonal right now.
The September Square is another square worked in rows to match the August Square. It uses the caterpillar stitch to make an interesting pattern that looks a little like plaid.

This squares is worked back and forth in rows. You need to turn your work after each row.
For the first stitch on each row: Chain 1 to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Chain 2 if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and chain 3 if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the rowi
