Toadstool Bauble
It’s cool and rainy outside. The ground is very damp and little mushrooms and toadstools are sprouting up wherever you look. And also on my crochet hook. Inspired by seeing these fungi throughout the Autumn, I decided to make my very own amigurumi mushrooms with scales and gills. I have also added hangers to them so that they can be used as hanging ornaments. Mine will go on our Christmas tree this year; owing to an excitable cat the baubles on our tree will have to be smash resistant….
So for other mushroom fans or those needing break-free ornaments, below is my free crochet pattern for a mushroom Christmas bauble. Please also check out my other Christmas crochet patterns here:
Materials
Yarn and colors Must Have mini in Brownie (colour 1) and Pearl (colour 2)(for the brown mushroom)
Yarn and colors Must Have mini in Cardinal (colour 1) and Birch (colour 2) (for the red toadstool)
Rico- fashion cotton metallise dk – Rose Gold if your want your spots to be sparkly
You can purchase yarn at lovecrochet. (Using this link does not cost you any extra but I will earn a small commission, will help me keep posting free patterns).
If you make this toadstool bauble, I would love to see it so why not tag me on Instagram using #Crochetcloudberry or my other social media?
