Crochet pumpkins everywhere! It is that time of year again, when we all go mad for pumpkins in every shape and form: latte, soup and pie. Not to mention the crochet ones:) And let’s face it, any decent crocheter worth her or his salt will have the odd crochet pumpkin or two that they bring out as the nights start pulling in.
I have to say I got a bit of a taste for crochet pumkins when working on the pumpkin pie granny square as part of the Fall in New England CAL, and so I decided to ask some crochet designer friends for their favourite pumpkin themed crochet patterns. And here is the best bit: I get to share these wonderful patterns with you, dear reader!
Whether you want some adorable pumpkin baby hats and mitts, pumkin-themed accessories or some stylish pumkins to decorate your home, read on and discover your next crochet pumpkin project.
Isn’t this beanie just adorable? And what could be better than discovering a cute pumkin baby hat pattern. It’s finding out that the pattern is free and it is also available in children’s and adults’ sizes.
Maybe your children don’t think it is cold enough for hats quite yet, then why not try these cute ear warmers. Use tapestry crochet to make the pumpkin design.
If you are not into carving pumpkins for your doorstep why not try crocheting these beauties? You can even go for more unusual colours – I am loving this blue and white combo here.
Or if you want to stray from your usual yarn, why not give these t-shirt yarn pumpkins a go? The lovely chunky yarn and the authentic twig make these pumpkins look extra special.
This is a perfect small project to practice your Tunsian crochet on. And to boot, you get this beautiful little pumpkin with all the nobbles that looks exactly like the gourds we have growing in our garden!
Doesn’t your heart just melt when you see a cute little baby all wrapped up in a pumpkin sleeping bag with a hat and cute mittens? This set is just perfect for Autumn arrivals.
And the last pattern is my old friend, the pumpkin gnome. She is a cute gnome using a recycled cork that will make a great table decoration throughout the Autumn.
And so dear reader, I hope that you have enjoyed this round up and have plenty of inspiration for your next crochet pumpkin project.
Remember to save your favourite projects using pinterest, pocket, bloglovin’ or your other favourite social media so that you can easily find your pumpkin inspiration later.
