Cranberry sauce is definitely an autumn favourite and the lovely deep reds of the berries reflect the season perfectly. And so this is the second free granny square pattern in the Fall in New England Cushion Crochet Along. This crochet square shows the delicate white cranberry flower surrounded by the juicy berries.
You can find the Cranberry Pie Granny Square Pattern for free below or you can buy an inexpensive ad-free pdf pattern.
You can purchase yarn and accessories at lovecrochet or Yarnspirations) (Using these links does not cost you any extra but I will earn a small commission that will help me keep posting free patterns).
The square is worked in the round. You do not need to turn your work after each row and you continue working in the same direction as before.
[Stitches written in brackets like this are all worked into the same stitch.]
For the first stitch on each row: Crochet 1 chain to move up to the next round if the round starts with double crochet. Crochet 2 chains if the round starts with a half treble crochet, and crochet 3 chains if the round starts with a treble crochet. These chains count as the first stitch in the row.
Sdc – special double crochet – instead of inserting your hook into the top loops of the stitch below, you insert your hook through the “V” on the front the stitch below.
Tr – Treble

Beautiful pattern.
There is a little confusion after Round 10; no Round 11 but a Round 13 instead, Round 12 then another Round 13. Is it just a typo or what ?
