Round 9
Start of star stitch. (If you are unfamiliar with the star stitch, click the link to go to a free tutorial – https://crochetcloudberry.co.uk/crochet-tutorial/star-stitch-tutorial/)
Note: For each side, the first star stitch is worked into the side of the preceding htr.
Use Plum Wine. Start in ch-2-sp. *[htr, ch 2, htr], htr, ch 1, then work the base of the star stitch 9 times. From * 4 times.
Note: In order to get 9 star stitches, the last part of the final star stitch is worked into the top of the first htr from [htr, ch 2, htr] in round 8. Alternatively if you would rather just have 8 star stitches, you can simply work 1 htr into each of the final stitches.
